Devold is one of the world's oldest outdoor brands, dating back to 1853. Frank was commissioned to create a new direction for the brand. To develop av new brand strategy, revitalise the brand identity frank.no/devold and to create a new communication concept. The objective was to change the perception of the brand from “old school” and “traditional” to “relevant” and “contemporary”, and to create awareness to why the target group should choose Devold in new markets.

The solution was based on a European study showing that people wanted to spend more time outdoors, finding it hard to break free from their “digital” everyday lifestyle. We created inspiring content showing that outdoor experiences can be a welcoming contrast to the digital noise we surround ourselves with. Inspiring people to break free from routine and explore, jump, climb, fly, whatever it takes. To fuel their passion for adventure and never look back. Christmas Campaign


Devold wanted to launch a slightly different Christmas campaign for the Norwegian market - and encourage people to buy less. Christmas is the time we spend most and consumption is highest. Therefore, we wanted to encourage everyone to give away an outdoor experience for Christmas. Encouraging people to give each other outdoor experiences and experience the real value of nature is the best way to create understanding that the earth is worth taking care of.
